Chico Man Arrested on Suspicion of Meth Sales After Butte County Traffic Stop
BUTTE COUNTY, CA — “On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at approximately 1:53 a.m., a Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputy on patrol observed a silver 2008 Nissan traveling south on Highway 32. A traffic stop was initiated for a vehicle code violation, and the driver, identified as Robert Graham, age 52 of Chico, was found to have a suspended driver’s license.
During the stop, a search revealed drug paraphernalia, multiple digital scales and approximately 51 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and cash. A small amount of suspected cocaine was also located.
Graham was arrested and booked into Butte County Jail on charges of transportation of controlled substances. Additionally, due to the enhanced penalties under Proposition 36 for individuals with two or more prior drug-related convictions, a felony drug charge was added to the booking.”
