Culver City Police Arrest Suspect in Connection with Armed Robbery on Washington Boulevard

CULVER CITY, CA — “The Culver City Police Department has arrested a suspect connected to an armed robbery that occurred on March 3, 2026, at the 5700 block of Washington Boulevard.

On March 12, 2026, investigative leads in the case, assisted by automated license plate reader camera system data, led members of the Culver City Police Department’s Crime Impact Team to the suspect believed to be involved in the robbery. Culver City Police located the suspect in the San Fernando Valley area.

During the operation, detectives observed the suspect entering a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle used during the robbery. Officers conducted a high-risk felony traffic stop, and suspect Jasahn James-Bacon McCluster, a nineteen-year-old from Los Angeles, was detained without incident and booked at the Culver City Police Department Jail for Robbery.

This arrest reflects the Culver City Police Department’s continued commitment to holding individuals accountable for violent crimes to protect our community.
