Methamphetamine Arrest Following Bicycle Stop in Winterhaven
WINTERHAVEN, CA — MARCH 6TH 2026 — “On February 26, 2026, at approximately 1737 hours deputies assigned to the Winterhaven Sub-Station noticed a male subject riding a bicycle with multiple violations. Deputies conducted an enforcement stop on the bicycle.
The male subject denied being on probation. A further investigation and with the assistance of the on-duty ICSO dispatchers, it was revealed that the subject was on active local probation for prior narcotics cases.
A probation search of the male subject revealed over 41 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. A criminal record’s check of the subject revealed prior drug convictions.
The male subject was arrested and booked into the Imperial County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sale, transportation of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.”
