Vacaville Police Arrest Oakland Man for Alleged Homicide
VACAVILLE, CA — “Today, at approximately 11:30 AM, City of Vacaville Police Department (VVPD) detectives arrested Michael Ward (20) in Oakland, CA in connection with Monday’s homicide in Vacaville. A firearm was recovered during the arrest.
Ward and the victim were residents of the same apartment in Vacaville where the incident took place. The incident remains under investigation.
VVPD investigates acts of violence with the highest level of determination. Since the incident, detectives have worked diligently to ensure those responsible are held accountable. This arrest reflects VVPD’s commitment to pursuing justice for Davion Calvin and providing answers to his family.
