“Last night just before 10:00 pm, our Dispatcher spoke with a caller who said she noticed a car that seemed to be stopped in the roadway on Alamo Drive near the area of Leisure Town Road, and a man was possibly slumped over the wheel. Seeing this was strange, she called for PD assistance.

The Vacaville Fire Department arrived on scene first, and spoke with 22-year old Troy Stewart (out of Suisun), who was the sole occupant and driver of the car.

Our officers arrived and took Stewart into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of an illegal controlled substance. They searched Stewart and found a Taurus Judge revolver, loaded with five .410 bore shot shells, in his front waistband.

Luckily, they were able to remove the firearm safely and no one was injured. Stewart was further found to be in possession of suspected non-prescription Xanax.

Stewart was given a ride to Solano County Jail for several charges including driving under the influence (DUI), possession of narcotics while armed, and possession of a loaded concealed firearm, to name a few.”
