San Luis Obispo Resident Arrested Following Narcotics Sales Investigation
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA-On January 6, 2026, the San Luis Obispo Police Department concluded a narcotics investigation resulting in the arrest of 65-year-old Eric Lamar Farrior. The operation took place at a residence located within the 900 block of Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo. According to department reports, Farrior was on active probation for previous narcotics-related arrests at the time of the police contact.
The terms of Farrior’s probation granted law enforcement the authority to conduct a search of his apartment. During the execution of the search, detectives and officers discovered more than one pound of methamphetamine. In addition to the narcotics, investigators located a digital scale, plastic baggies, and various other items identified by officials as equipment used for the sale and consumption of controlled substances.
Following the discovery of the evidence, Farrior was taken into custody and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. The charges filed in connection with incident #260106048 include felony possession of a controlled substance (HS 11378) and felony transportation of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales (HS 11379(A)). Additionally, Farrior faces a charge of felony possession with prior convictions under HS 11395(B)(1). The investigation was described by the department as a complex process involving both patrol officers and detectives.
