CHP Arrests Two for Child Endangerment and DUI on Highway 1

On Saturday evening, CHP officers observed a troubling situation on HWY 1 when they noticed a vehicle blocking the right lane. Upon further inspection, the officers discovered two young children in the back seat, while both parents were found to be intoxicated. 🤦♀️🍷
The dad was arrested for DUI, and the mother was arrested with public intoxication. 😔 Both parents were charged with child endangerment and taken to county jail. Fortunately, the children were safely removed from the situation and cared for by CHP officers, who shared some laughs and smiles before reuniting them with a responsible relative. 💖👨👧👦
