Large Amounts of Cannabis, Psychedelic Mushrooms Reportedly Seized in Drug Raid
BAKERSFIELD, CA — JANUARY 26TH 2026
“DEA agents, along with detectives from the California Highway Patrol and Bakersfield Police Department assigned to the DEA Task Force, conducted a coordinated investigation into a suspected drug trafficking organization.
Multiple search warrants were executed with assistance from CHP and Bakersfield PD tactical teams.
Seized:
• ~4,500 marijuana plants
• 150+ lbs of processed marijuana
• 15 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
• 15 firearms
• $2,100 in U.S. currency
Arrests:
Four individuals were taken into custody on multiple marijuana sales and firearm-related charges.
This investigation is ongoing.”
