Lucerne Woman Arrested on Murder Charges Following Fatal Stabbing Incident on East End Road
LUCERNE, CA — On January 27, 2026, at approximately 9:26 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley station responded to a report of a stabbing in the 40000 block of East End Road in Lucerne. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers located 38-year-old Brandon Daoutis on the ground with a sharp force injury.
Deputies provided medical assistance to the victim until the arrival of San Bernardino County Fire personnel. Daoutis was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail was notified and assumed leadership of the investigation.
During the course of the investigation, detectives identified 39-year-old Jeanette Rocha as the suspect in the case. Officials identified Rocha as the girlfriend of the victim. Rocha, a resident of Lucerne, was arrested on suspicion of murder under California Penal Code 187. Following her arrest, she was transported to and booked into the High Desert Detention Center.
