Fairfield Man Arrested for Alleged Possession of CSAM
FAIRFIELD, CA — “The Solano County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau, Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), Benicia Police Department, and FBI, served a search warrant on 01/14/26 in the 3400 block of Springfield Drive in Fairfield as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession, distribution and related activities involving Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
During the service of the warrant, detectives arrested Zachary Sanders, a 28-year-old resident of Fairfield. Sanders was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Solano County Justice Center on the following felony charges:
California Penal Code Section 311.11(a) – Possession of matter depicting a person under 18 years of age personally engaging in or simulating sexual conduct (possession of child pornography).
California Penal Code Section 311.1(a) – Knowingly sending or bringing into the state, or possessing with intent to distribute or print, obscene matter depicting a minor (possession with intent to distribute or related activities involving child pornography).
Sanders is currently being held in the Solano County Jail with bail per schedule set at $25,000.
These charges stem from evidence located during the investigation and the search of the residence. The investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming as forensic examination of electronic devices and other materials continues.
