Del Norte County Authorities Seize Weapons and Narcotics, Wanted Individual Arrested
CRESCENT CITY, CA — A Del Norte County man with a felony warrant was arrested in late December, according to authorities.
In a press release, the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office announced that deputies had responded on the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, to a home on the 6000 block of Kings Valley Road in Crescent City.
The wanted individual, identified as Mykah Mode, 29, was taken into custody.
Deputies then searched the residence and reportedly confiscated two loaded handguns, fentanyl, cannabis, and methamphetamine.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies also confiscated suboxone strips wrapped in latex, consistent with a common method of smuggling drugs into jail.
Mode was booked on charges in connection with his warrant and new charges based on the evidence discovered during the search.
