San Jose Police Arrest Man for Alleged Sexual Battery of 15-Year-Old Girl
SAN JOSE, CA — JANUARY 14TH 2026
“Earlier this morning, Officers responded to a report of a possible kidnapping and sexual battery at a high school in San Jose. The 15 year old victim reported she was walking to school when the suspect approached her and pulled the victim into his vehicle where he proceeded he sexually batter her. The victim returned to her local high school and reported the incident.
Sexual Assault Investigations Unit detectives responded to the scene to assist patrol with the investigation. Shortly after, SJPD’s Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC) utilized our ALPR database to locate and identify a possible suspect and associated suspect vehicle. With the assistance of the Air Support Unit (AIR3), the suspect vehicle was located in south San Jose. Patrol Officers conducted a high risk vehicle stop and took the suspect into custody without incident.
The quick and coordinated response made the swift apprehension of the suspect possible. The victim has been offered resources and we remain committed to working around the clock to keep San Jose safe.”
