SDPD Investigates Armed Robbery at Euclid Avenue Subway; Public Assistance Requested
SAN DIEGO, CA – The San Diego Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 27, 2025. According to department officials, the incident took place shortly before 2:00 PM at a Subway restaurant located in the 300 block of Euclid Avenue.
Investigators report that a masked individual entered the establishment and displayed a weapon. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before fleeing the scene on foot in a westbound direction. No injuries occurred during the encounter, and the San Diego Police Department has stated there is no ongoing threat to the general public.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s with a thin build, standing approximately 5’8” tall, and possessing sunburned skin. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a mask, black gloves, and gray baggy pants. His footwear consisted of black sneakers featuring aqua blue soles, and he was observed carrying a backpack with orange trim.
While officers have cleared the scene of the incident, detectives are continuing their investigation. Authorities are asking members of the community to come forward with any information that may lead to the identification of the individual.
