San Francisco Honda Unit Arrests Suspect for Narcotics Sales and Possession of Ghost Gun
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Members of the San Francisco Police Department’s Honda Unit arrested 49-year-old Haleem Williams on December 18, 2025, following a multi-month investigation into the sale of suspected narcotics. The investigation originated in August 2025 after Park Rangers reported that an individual was selling narcotics during a music festival in Golden Gate Park.
Following the initial report, investigators conducted two buy-bust operations on December 4 and December 12. On December 18, officers arranged a third transaction near Mint and Mission Streets, where Williams was observed selling approximately $1,500 worth of suspected MDMA pills. Officers took Williams into custody at the scene without incident.
During the arrest, law enforcement seized a backpack containing suspected narcotics and paraphernalia associated with drug sales. A subsequent search of the suspect’s vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of a loaded ghost gun. In total, officers seized 193.5 grams of suspected MDMA pills.
Williams was booked into the San Francisco County Jail on multiple charges. These include the sale, transport, or administration of narcotics (11379(a) PC), carrying a loaded firearm (25850(a) PC), and being a felon in possession of a firearm (29800(a) PC).
SFPD Police Chief Derrick Lew stated that the department will not tolerate drug sales and credited the Honda Unit for its efforts in the case. While an arrest has been made, the investigation remains active.
