Retail Store Theft in Citrus Heights – Multiple Suspects Arrested

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA — “Earlier this week, officers responded to a reported grand theft at a retail store on Sunrise Blvd, where three suspects entered the store, grabbed armfuls of merchandise, and ran out within minutes without paying. They fled in a Jeep displaying a paper license plate.

Thanks to quick reporting, sharp observations, and proactive policing, an alert officer located the suspect vehicle minutes later near Greenback Lane and Bremen Drive. Even without a traditional license plate, officers were able to identify and locate the vehicle, conduct a lawful stop, and take the appropriate enforcement action.

A probation search revealed all of the stolen merchandise, valued at more than $2,200, which was returned to the business.

All of the suspects had prior theft related convictions. All three were arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on burglary-related charges and conspiracy, and one was also charged with drug possession.

Arrested were:

Tabitha Fischer, 32

Davis Turner, 39

Jonathan Gilchrist, 53

Holiday Safety Reminder:
