Keyes Man Arrested by Special Victims Unit on Lewd Acts Charges
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA — On December 9, 2025, a Keyes resident was taken into custody following an investigation by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit. The arrested individual was identified as Jaspal Singh, a 36-year-old male adult.
The investigation centered on allegations of lewd acts with a child, which the victim reported had been occurring over a prolonged period. On the day of the arrest, Mr. Singh had allegedly arranged to meet with the minor. Undercover detectives intercepted the suspect in the parking lot of Pitman High School before the scheduled meeting could take place.
During questioning, Mr. Singh reportedly admitted to the allegations against him. He was subsequently booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center. The charges filed include lewd acts with a child under fourteen years of age, communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime, and arranging a meeting with a minor for sexual purposes.
Detectives from the Special Victim’s Unit requested a bail enhancement. Mr. Singh is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
