PLACER COUNTY, CA — December 11, 2025 — “The Placer County Sheriff’s Office has extradited Steven Ohrie Williams III, of Missouri, to Placer County, where he is now booked into the Placer County Jail and will be required to answer to multiple felony charges related to the exploitation of a local child.
This development follows an investigation that began in April 2025, when our Special Operations Detectives determined that Williams had been communicating with a child in Placer County for the purpose of obtaining illicit material.
With assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, the St. Charles County Police Department, and the St. Charles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Williams was located and arrested in Missouri on November 4.
Williams has now been extradited to face felony charges in Placer County including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor as well as:

• PC 288.2(a)(2)
• PC 288.3(a)
