Fairfield Man Arrested for Alleged Possession of CSAM
FAIRFIELD, CA — “On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m., detectives from the Solano County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau, assisted by the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), Vacaville PD, and Benicia PD, served a search warrant at a residence in the 2000 block of Fairfield Avenue in the city of Fairfield.
The search warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). During the search, detectives located multiple electronic devices that will have to be forensically searched.
Matthew Rios, a 38-year-old resident of Fairfield, was taken into custody at the scene without incident. He was booked into the Solano County Justice Center Detention Facility on the felony charge of 311.11(A) PC (Possession of child sexual abuse material). Rios is being held on $25,000 bail. Additional charges are pending further forensic examination of seized devices.
