SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Francisco Police officers responded to a shooting at a school located on the 400 block of Mansell Street on December 2, 2025, at approximately 12:13 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male who had sustained a gunshot wound. Officers provided immediate aid at the scene. Paramedics subsequently responded, rendered further assistance, and transported the victim to a local hospital. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities were advised that the suspect fled the scene immediately after the incident. Preliminary findings indicate this was an isolated incident.
The investigation was immediately undertaken by officers from the San Francisco Police Department’s Crime Gun Investigations Center (CGIC). Through investigative efforts, CGIC officers successfully located a juvenile male suspect on the 1400 block of Shafter Avenue. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. Charges against the individual remain pending as the investigation continues.
During the process of the arrest, officers located and recovered a firearm.
