Felon Arrested in Visalia After Search Yields Firearms, Drugs, and Brass Knuckles
VISALIA, CA — November 24th 2025 — Visalia Police Department officers conducted a search warrant on the morning of Monday November 24th that resulted in the seizure of multiple illegal items and the arrest of a local resident with a prior felony conviction. The operation took place at approximately 10:00 a.m. on November 24, 2025, at a residence located at 8820 Avenue 280, situated between Shirk Avenue and Highway 99 in Visalia.
The VPD Narcotics Team led the operation, receiving assistance from both the Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) and the Homeless Outreach and Proactive Enforcement (HOPE) Team. During the execution of the search warrant, officers made contact with 56-year-old William Casner at the address.
The search of the property yielded the discovery and subsequent seizure of four firearms and a set of brass knuckles. Additionally, officers seized a quantity of narcotics that police suspect were intended for illegal sale.
Casner was taken into custody by Visalia Police. Due to his prior felony conviction, he was booked on suspicion of being in possession of the seized illegal items. Casner was transported to the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office for booking.
