Fontana Men Arrested for Attempted Murder and Robbery in Riverside Parking Lot Shooting
RIVERSIDE, CA — “Early Sunday morning, October 5, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Riverside Police Officers responded to the 3900 block of Main Street after our Public Safety Communications Center received reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in his mid-20’s in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Firefighter-Paramedics provided medical aid before the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Detectives assigned to our Robbery-Homicide Unit, along with Specialists from the Forensics Unit, responded and assumed the investigation.
Investigators learned the victim had been robbed in a nearby alley then shot by two suspects in this parking lot. Over the following days, they identified two suspects who were involved. With assistance from the METRO and SWAT Teams, detectives served search warrants at two residences in Fontana and one in Bloomington on Thursday, October 9th. Both suspects were found at the Fontana locations and taken into custody.
Benjamin Boshae and Uriel Morales, both 19 years old and from Fontana, were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. Boshae was booked on charges of attempted murder, robbery, and conspiracy. Morales was booked on charges of attempted murder, robbery, conspiracy, and violation of parole, and both are being held on $1 million bail each.
