Corcoran Man Arrested on Multiple Charges After High-Speed Pursuit in Visalia
VISALIA, CA — October 11th, 2025 – The Visalia Police Department announced this morning that their officers have arrested a man early this following a brief high speed chase that concluded in the southern part of the city. At approximately 1:50 a.m., police responded to reports of a large gathering near the intersection of Dinuba Boulevard and Riggin Avenue.
As officers arrived on the scene, a gray Chevy Silverado was observed leaving the location at a high rate of speed, operating in a reckless manner. An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver failed to yield. This initiated a pursuit that ultimately concluded near Pratt Avenue and Demaree Street.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Raul Pacheco of Corcoran, was taken into custody by officers without further incident. Police confirmed that all occupants of the vehicle were also residents of Corcoran.
During the investigation, officers discovered several spent shell casings in the bed of the truck. Additionally, a firearm was recovered at the initial location where the pursuit began, near Dinuba and Riggin. Pacheco has been booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on multiple charges. These charges include felony evading, driving under the influence, possession of a loaded firearm while under the influence, and possession of a large-capacity magazine.
