Colton Man Arrested Following Stabbing Investigation

COLTON, CA — “On September 5, 2025, at approximately 3:18 PM, Colton Police Officers responded to the area of Mt. Vernon Avenue and Centerpointe Drive in the City of Colton, in reference to reports of stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. The victim was subsequently transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Wade Bush from Colton, CA. Colton Police Detectives determined Bush fled the area and was hiding at a friend’s residence in Homeland, CA. A warrant for attempted murder was issued for Bush.

On 9/17/25 at approximately 0500 hours, the Inland Valley SWAT Team executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 2000 block of Butterfly Palm Drive, Homeland, CA. Wade Bush was detained at the scene and arrested for his active warrant. He was later booked into the West Valley Detention Center on the listed charge and held without bail.
