Woodland Woman Arrested on Drug and Warrant Charges Following Traffic Stop

WOODLAND, CA  — Deputies conducted a traffic stop on August 22, 2025, in the area of County Road 102 and Main Street in Woodland. During the stop, deputies contacted 45-year-old Tanisha Schuchman, a resident of Woodland.

Following the encounter, deputies determined that Schuchman was in possession of methamphetamine. A records check also revealed that she had an active warrant for her arrest. Schuman’s numerous prior arrests can be viewed here. 

Schuchman was taken into custody at the scene without further incident. She was later booked into the Yolo County Jail on the warrant and drug-related charges.

This arrest reflects the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office’s continued enforcement of local and state laws aimed at addressing narcotics-related offenses.
