CAMARILLO, CA — September 2, 2025 — A string of recent car thefts in a Camarillo neighborhood has led to the arrests of three
Oxnard residents on suspicion of multiple felony charges.
According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Jarrod Foote, it was
approximately 2:30 a.m. on September 1 when a Camarillo detective saw two dark Infiniti sedans slowly cruising near a
local school.
One of the occupants stepped out wearing a face mask and carrying a crowbar,
then quickly got back in a car.
One of the vehicles was left behind, raising further suspicion.
Deputies from the Camarillo Patrol and investigators from the Camarillo Investigations Bureau
then coordinated a swift response and pulled over the remaining vehicle.
Inside, they made contact with and identified three individuals: Adrian Horta, 18; Randi Arevalo, 19; and Cristian
Isidoro, 20 — all residents of Oxnard.
“Further inspection” revealed the abandoned Infiniti had a broken driver’s side window and had
been stolen from the city of Oxnard, but had not yet been reported as such.
Deputies also discovered “burglary tools and suspected stolen property” in the suspects’ possession.
Horta, Arevalo, and Isidoro were taken into custody and transported to Ventura County Jail.
They were booked on charges including conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of
burglary tools, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of stolen property, with their bail
set at 100,000 each.
