Sutter Creek Police Arrest Woman on Suspicion of DUI After Pickup Found Blocking Roadway
SUTTER CREEK, CA — ”On the morning of August 13, 2025, Sutter Creek Police were dispatched to a white pickup blocking the roadway near the intersection of Sutter Hill and Ridge Road in Sutter Creek. Once the officer arrived, he observed a 66-year-old female outside the vehicle. She had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about her breath and person. She denied driving the vehicle.
However, upon further investigation, the officer confirmed with witnesses and reviewed digital video which contradicted her statement. She was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and booked into the Amador County jail without incident.
Please note all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
