SACRAMENTO, CA — August 1st, 2025 – “This morning at approximately 10 AM, 36-year-old Ryan Brabec assaulted his roommate with a glass bottle before barricading himself inside a home on the 3800 block of Moonbeam Drive in East Sacramento County.

After several hours of unsuccessful negotiations, the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail (SWAT Team) deployed CS gas. Sheriff’s K9 Tito successfully brought the standoff to an end by taking Brabec into custody.

Once medically cleared, Brabec will be booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. His booking photo will be available online once he is booked in.”
