SUTTER CREEK, CA — A routine disturbance call at a local hotel on July 9, 2025, escalated into a foot pursuit culminating in the arrest of a wanted individual.
A Sutter Creek Police Department sergeant encountered a man in the hotel parking lot who provided the officer conflicting identities and lacked proper identification. As the officer attempted to detain the man, he fled on foot.
A brief chase ensued through neighboring streets before the sergeant successfully apprehended the man as he looped back towards the hotel.
Further investigation revealed the individual was sought on a Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) warrant from El Dorado County, and was booked into the Amador County Jail.
