Two Arrested for Alleged Possession, Sales of Methamphetamine in Cotati
COTATI, CA — “On July 19, 2025, at approximately 0130 hours, a Cotati Patrol Sergeant was conducting patrol in the 500 block of Helman Lane. During this time, he contacted a male and female in the parking lot of a closed business. Upon contact, it was learned that the male subject was on felony probation. Per his probation terms, the male subject was required to submit to search and seizure of his person, property and vehicle.
A probation search of the male subject and his vehicle was conducted and approximately six ounces of methamphetamine was located. The methamphetamine was packed in large and small quantities which is indictive to drug sales. Additionally, more packaging, “pay/owe” sheets, a methamphetamine pipe and a large amount of money in all different denominations was located.
The female also admitted to having a methamphetamine pipe and approximately one ounce of methamphetamine concealed on her person.
The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, violation of felony probation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later transported to the Sonoma County Jail. The female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
In total, just under one half pound of methamphetamine was located and seized.”
