Arrest Warrant Issued After Firearms, Ammunition Seized from Yuba County Residence
“Marysville, CA – At approximately 10:15 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Team executed a search warrant at a residence located on the 4000 block of Dan Avenue in Olivehurst. The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation involving firearms and narcotics.
Although the suspect in the investigation, Sven Johnson (age 41), was not present at the time of the search, the operation led to the seizure of 16 firearms, a large quantity of ammunition, body armor, and equipment used to reload ammunition. The majority of the firearms were discovered inside a large safe concealed behind a false wall in Johnson’s bedroom.
Investigators confirmed that at least four of the recovered firearms had been previously reported stolen from various law enforcement agencies. Johnson, a convicted felon, is legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.
Johnson now holds a felony arrest warrant for multiple firearms-related violations. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.”
