Juvenile Arrested After Allegedly Being Caught with Loaded Gun in Public

POMONA, CA — “On Sunday, June 1st, Major Crimes Task Force Officers (MCTF) were conducting a routine patrol near the area of Myrtle Ave. and Second St. when they saw several individuals using illegal substances. As officers approached the individuals, one attempted to run away, and a gun fell from his pocket. The firearm was rendered safe, and the individual, a juvenile, was then cited and released to a legal guardian.
On Sunday, June 1st, MCTF Officers were conducting routine patrol near Cesar Chavez Park when they observed a group of individuals consuming alcohol in public. As Officers approached, several individuals attempted to run away. One individual did not comply with Officers commands and was found to be in possession of a firearm and a knife. The firearm was rendered safe, and the individual, a juvenile, was arrested and later cited and released to a legal guardian.”
