Quincy Man Arrested for Drug and Firearm Offenses, Stolen Property Recovered During Compliance Check

“On May 28, 2025, deputies and detectives with the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office conducted a compliance check on Dylan Hopper in the 39000 block of Highway 70 in Quincy.

As a result of the check, deputies and detectives located methamphetamine and a loaded firearm inside the residence. Additionally, a skid steer and trailer, which had been stolen out of Washoe County, Nevada was recovered from the property.

Dylan Hopper, age 37 of Quincy, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, possession of methamphetamine, violation of a court order, and possession of stolen property. Hopper was booked into the Plumas County Correctional Center and held on a $30,000 bail.

The case will be forwarded to the Plumas County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
