VALLEJO, CA — “On April 13, 2025, officers assigned to the Vallejo Police Department Patrol Division observed a white GM Pontiac near 5th Street and Dishong Street with a rear passenger side brake light out. This prompted officers to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle.
While talking to the officers, the driver admitted that he did not possess a valid driver’s license. He also produced a recent citation from another agency, where he was previously cited for the listed violation. The officers detained the male for driving without a valid driver’s license.
Officers completed an inventory search on the vehicle, preparing to tow the vehicle and place it on a 30-day hold. During the inventory, officers located a fully loaded firearm under the driver’s seat. A records check revealed that the firearm was reported stolen out of St. Louis.
Additionally, officers also located a loaded high-capacity magazine, cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, and two digital scales.
The driver was arrested for multiple felony charges, including possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance while armed, and possession of narcotics for sale.
All the listed items were collected for evidence, the Pontiac was towed from the scene, and the driver was booked into the Solano County Jail.”
