Solano County Man Arrested for Alleged Possession, Distribution of CSAM
VACAVILLE, CA — A Solano County man is in custody for the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material, according to authorities.
In a press release, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office announced that they had arrested a 27-year-old Vacaville man in connection with an investigation into the alleged downloading and distribution of the illicit material.
Authorities reportedly carried out a search warrant on the 7000 block of Paddon Rd. on Thursday, March 6, and seized several mobile phones and computers. These devices were reviewed by a forensics team for additional evidence, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Solano County District Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for the suspect, whom authorities have identified as Edgar “Cataleya” Aguirre.
On Thursday, April 3, authorities took Aguirre into custody. He was booked into the Solano County jail on suspicion of distributing child pornography and possession of child pornography, the sheriff’s office said.
