Wanted Individuals Reportedly Arrested During Traffic Stop in Del Norte County
DEL NORTE, CA — “On 2-21-25, Deputies from the Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop on a GMC Yukon near Humboldt and Hamilton road with several wanted persons inside.
The driver, Samantha Ray failed to yield to Deputies and continued driving north on Humboldt road at high speeds. She then turned onto State street to a back trail/4×4 road and finally stalled the vehicle after a near Collison at State and Elk Valley road.
Deputies apprehended Ray DOB 3/3/1990 as well as the passengers, Caitlin Suiter DOB 4/1/1991 and Christopher Swain DOB 9/12/1986.
Swain was booked under a Del Norte County arrest warrant for a PRCS violation.
Suiter was booked under a Del Norte County arrest warrant for PC 4573.6, bringing narcotics into a Correctional Facility.
Ray was booked under various vehicle codes including VC 2800.2, reckless evading.”
