Case Update: Smash-and-Grab Robbery

“On November 21, 2024, a smash-and-grab robbery occurred at S&L Gem Co. Jewelry. Three masked individuals caused chaos, using hammers and sledgehammers to destroy display cases, stealing approximately $1.5 million worth of jewelry.

Through a detailed and collaborative investigation spanning multiple jurisdictions, six suspects have been taken into custody for their roles in this crime:
Anuanu Tuiono (20)
• Dahnavan Tuipulotu (20)
Feleti Halaapiapi (23)
Sione Halaapiapi (18)
• Siafa Fifita (23)
• A Rocklin juvenile (15)

The suspects face multiple felony charges, including, felony robbery, felony conspiracy, motor vehicle theft and felony evading. This investigation was successful thanks to the dedicated work of the Roseville Police Department in partnership with: Sacramento Police Department Tracy Police Department Manteca Police Department East Palo Alto Police Department Rocklin Police Department and Placer County Special Investigations Unit.

Over the last two months, multiple search warrants were executed, uncovering critical evidence that led to these arrests and the prevention of further criminal activity.
We are proud of the teamwork and commitment shown by all agencies involved in bringing these suspects to justice.

This case serves as a reminder that criminal activity of this nature will not be tolerated in Roseville. Together, we are committed to keeping our community safe.”
