LIVERMORE — Four suspects have been arrested this month in connection with a
major gun running investigation, that could lead to more arrests.
Those arrested were: Yvonne Nolascobarajas,19, of Livermore along with
Oscar A. Portilloamaya,31, of Stockton, and two “transients,” Ramon V. Vaca, 45, and Anotionio Cruz, 38.
Police received information in August concerning persons attempting to sell stolen firearms.
The case also involved illicit drugs and burglaries in Livermore. Police served search warrants
at residences in Livermore and Stockton, and a homeless encampment in Livermore.
“We recovered 15 stolen firearms, multiple rounds of ammunition, high-capacity magazines, and precursor parts to manufacture firearms,” officials said. “Most of the stolen firearms are linked to two residential burglaries that occurred in Livermore this summer.”
Livermore PD has recovered 15 firearms, ammunition, one pound of methamphetamine, and 17 stolen bicycles.
The four suspects arrested were booked at Alameda County Santa Rita Jail. They face charges for grand theft of firearms, possession of an assault weapon,
burglaries, among other crimes.
