Man with Felony Warrants Apprehended after Alleged Trespassing Incident in Butte County

“On Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at approximately 9:00 a.m., BCSO deputies received information that Roman Corteslomeli, age 26 of Live Oak, was trespassing at a residence off the 1900 block of Highway 70 in Palermo. Corteslomeli had three felony warrants for his arrest.

Upon arrival, deputies surrounded the house and began PA announcements, and detectives prepared a search warrant into the home. With the assistance of police K9 Enzo, the suspect was located hiding in an attic crawl space. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into the Butte County Jail for his warrants.”
