El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest in Community Burglaries

In response to a recent surge in burglaries within the Blackstone community of El Dorado Hills, detectives from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation over the past month. Residents of the community actively collaborated with law enforcement, providing valuable information that led to the identification of a person of interest.
On November 24, 2023, detectives executed a parole search in Stockton, California, a critical step in the ongoing investigation. The search, resulted in the arrest of Marcus Anthony Wright, a resident of Stockton. Wright now faces charges of burglary, prowling, and parole violation based on evidence uncovered during the search.
The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude for the cooperation received from Blackstone community residents, emphasizing the pivotal role they played in aiding the investigation.
