Fresno: Suspect Arrested in East Fountain Way Homicide

On Tuesday, November 7, 2023, The Fresno Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to the 4200 Block of East Fountain Way to initiate an investigation into the murder of 28-year-old Daniel Payan, who was found face down in the parking lot. Payan was later pronounced deceased at CRMC.

After reviewing video surveillance and interviewing witnesses, detectives identified 31-year-old J’Tericka Hall as the person responsible for Payan’s death. On Friday, November 10, 2023, officers served a search warrant at her residence where Hall was located and taken into custody. Although an arrest has been made, detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to please call the Fresno Police Department.
