“Earlier this week Robert Overholser was convicted of multiple counts of sexual assaults of three children under the age of 10.
He is facing life in prison.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in department 22 at Madera Superior Court on October 12, 2023.
We would like to thank the children for their courageous testimony and the jury for their dedication.
Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation of these crimes including Madera Sheriff’s Office, Clovis PD, Fresno Police Department, Fresno Sheriff’s Office, Fresno Internet Crimes Against Children task force, Homeland Security and Investigators with the Madera County District Attorney’s Office. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.”
