Drive-by Shooting Leaves 18-Year-Old Male Injured in GPD’s Early Investigation

Last night, at approximately 7 p.m., the diligent officers of the GPD (Geneva Police Department) swiftly responded to a distress call reporting a male victim with gunshot wounds in an alley between E Street and the vicinity of 2nd and 3rd Streets. The incident, believed to be a drive-by shooting, left an 18-year-old male from Sacramento injured with three non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his body.
As the investigation remains in its preliminary stages, GPD officers wasted no time in securing the area and providing immediate medical assistance to the victim.
