Cash evidence collected during arrest | Yreka PD
“On May 27,2023 Officer Bertolucci initiated a traffic stop within the city limits of Yreka. During the initial contact with the occupants, their car rolled into the patrol unit. CHP – Yreka responded to assist with the accident report. There were no reported injuries resulting from the accident. While Officer Bertolucci, Officer Tygart and Sgt. Hasemeyer continued with their initial investigation, baggies containing suspicious substances were located along with a large bundle of cash. The substances were determined to be methamphetamine and cocaine. The drug and money investigation were handed over to the North State Inter-Agency Marijuana Team for further investigation.
