Kern County Man Arrested for Allegedly Operating Chop Shop

“On April 19, 2023, Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies from the East Area Substation went to the 1800 block of 130th Street West in Rosamond, CA, to the residence of Sean Delatova, age 44. Delatova had 2 active felony warrants for his arrest (for stolen vehicles).

Upon arrival, deputies located several stolen vehicles on the property: 5 stolen vehicles, a stolen motorcycle, and a stolen tractor. All 7 stolen vehicles were removed from the property. Delatova was arrested and booked into the Mojave Jail for his active felony warrants, operating a chop shop, possession of stolen vehicles, tampering with vehicles, possession of a controlled substance, and felon in possession of ammunition.
