“The Butte County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) and Butte County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue are currently searching for Nancy Johnson, age 72 of Concow. Nancy, who has dementia, is described as a white female adult, 5’5” tall, with hazel eyes and grey/white, shoulder-length hair. Nancy had previously been reported missing to the Oroville Police Department.
BCSO was made aware of Nancy being a missing person, after deputies located a vehicle on Skyway and Humbug Road at 1:00 this morning. The vehicle belongs to Nancy and her keys and wallet were located inside. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate Nancy. BCSO is also utilizing our helicopter to assist in the search. Anyone with information on Nancy’s whereabouts is asked to contact BCSO at (530) 538-7322.”
