an hour later, a second call of a catalytic converter theft came in and this time, the two suspects were still on scene on Presidio Ave. in Plumas Lake. A YCSO Deputy called a friend who lives in the neighborhood and asked him to look outside for the crime in progress. Sure enough, the friend said he could hear the metal being cut off of the victim’s vehicle and provided a description of the suspects and their vehicle. UCSO Deputy Paedes arrived in the area and saw the suspects flee in a silver SUV. After a short attempt to flee, our Deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested Sou Saetern and Stephanie Lozoya for numerous property theft and drug crimes. Both stolen catalytic converters were returned to their owners. Both suspects were booked in the Yuba County Jail.”
