“GPD Officers responded to a report of a stabbing near Lincoln Way/Wendy Hope Dr. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from multiple stab wounds.
During the investigation, it was determined the male suspect was still inside of the residence. Officers located the suspect inside of a bedroom. He was identified as Sergio Alfaro, of Galt.
Alfaro was arrested for 664/187(a) PC – Attempted Murder, 245(a)(1) PC – Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and 3056 PC – Parole Violation. He was transported to Sacramento County Main Jail where he is ineligible for bail.
The female victim was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment and is in stable condition.”
