SAN RAFAEL — Henry R. Garcia-Garcia, 30, a construction worker from San Rafael takes frequent trips to Marin County Jail. His latest arrest concerns a stolen truck that he was allegedly in possession.

Garcia-Garcia has been arrested 16 times since December 2015 for a variety of offenses. His most recent arrest happened near Palillos Restaurant at 3060 Kerner Boulevard.

San Rafael police received a report that a man was causing a disturbance in the vicinity of the restaurant. Officers were dispatched August 30 shortly after 4 p.m.

The reporting party gave a description of the man and a pickup truck. It was easily spotted east of Interstate 580 in a commercial area on Kerner Boulevard.

An officer routinely checked the license plate number. The situation became more serious for Garcia-Garcia than merely making a nuisance of oneself. Turns out it was a stolen truck.

Garcia-Garcia was August 30 at 5:03 p.m. Authorities booked him into Marin County Jail, where he is a familiar face. Bond for release from custody was set at $50,000.

His open charges include receiving/possession of a stolen vehicle and violation of terms of probation from a prior conviction. He also has a charge involving a court order for a burglary, which he was arrested for while already behind bars.

Garcia-Garcia has prior arrests for possession of controlled substances, and other offenses on his arrest record.
