Man Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Homicide in Roseville

“On 08/07/2022 at approximately 5:47 P.M., RPD Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Sunrise Ave to reports of a shooting. Once officers arrived on scene they learned an altercation took place between two males, leading to one male shooting at the other. The shooter had fled the scene, however witnesses were able to provide officers with a detailed description of the suspect and his vehicle. Officers identified the shooter as 29 year old Tevin Thomas out of Elk Grove.

On 08/09/2022, detectives from the Roseville Crime Suppression Unit worked with detectives from the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office Gang Suppression Unit to take Thomas into custody. Thomas was booked into the South Placer County Jail on several charges to include attempted homicide. Thomas is being held without bail.”
