Gang Members Arrested with Firearm & Narcotics for Sale

Merced – Merced PD Gang Unit arrests two known gang members in possession of ghost gun and narcotics after serving a search warrant.

On June 3, 2022 at approximately 11:45 AM the Merced Police Departments Gang Violence Suppression Unit assisted Officer Brian Laguna to serve a search warrant in the 500 block of Stratford Ct. Officer Brian Laguna obtained information that the residents at the home Jonathan Aguilar (21) and Elijah Ervin (22) were selling narcotics.

As officers searched the residence, they located approximately 1 ounce of fentanyl pills, 14 grams of cocaine, and a 9mm ghost gun. Both Ervin and Aguilar were booked into Merced County Jail for sales of narcotics, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and gang enhancements.
